Claude Code

git clone https://github.com/DojoCodingLabs/remotion-superpowerscp -r "remotion-superpowers/skills/add-captions" ~/.claude/skills/

Copies the add-captions skill into ~/.claude/skills/ for every project (use .claude/skills/ for one project). Repeat for the other skills listed below.

Plugin

/plugin marketplace add DojoCodingLabs/remotion-superpowers

Run inside Claude Code if the repository ships a plugin marketplace, then pick plugins from /plugin.

Skills can run code on your machine — read the SKILL.md first.

What it does

In the author's own words, from each skill's SKILL.md.

  • add-captions

Add TikTok-style, karaoke, YouTube or minimal captions to your Remotion video. Gets word-level captions through the official remotion-captions flow (whisper-webgpu, or ElevenLabs Scribe via @remotion/elevenlabs when there's no GPU), or imports the user's SRT with parseSrt, places one official caption element per clip, and applies a style preset with platform-safe placement.

  • add-music

Generate background music and add it to your Remotion project. Describe the mood/genre you want, and this will generate a commercially licensed track with Eleven Music (official ElevenLabs music skill) and wire it into your composition with proper fade in/out.

skills/add-music/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • add-transitions

Add professional scene transitions to your Remotion video. Choose from fade, slide, wipe, flip, clock-wipe and light-leak overlays — with spring or linear timing.

skills/add-transitions/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • add-voiceover

Generate a voiceover narration and add it to your Remotion project. Provide a script or describe what the narration should say, and this will generate per-scene ElevenLabs TTS audio (official ElevenLabs text-to-speech skill) and wire it into your composition.

  • analyze-footage

Analyze existing video files with TwelveLabs AI. Get a timestamped scene map of your footage, ask questions about it, find specific moments across a library, and get the best clips with timestamps for Remotion.

skills/analyze-footage/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • create-short

Create a short-form vertical video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts). Optimized 9:16 pipeline with a live Studio preview, auto-captions, hook-first structure, and background music mood selection; renders to MP4 only when you ask.

skills/create-short/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • create-video

Full video production pipeline — from a text prompt to a live Studio preview with voiceover, music, sound effects, stock footage, and motion graphics, rendered to MP4 when you ask. The flagship command of Remotion Superpowers.

skills/create-video/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • find-footage

Search and download stock footage from Pexels for your Remotion project. Provide a description of what you need and this will find, preview, and download matching clips.

skills/find-footage/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • generate-clip

Generate AI video clips for your Remotion project. Create unique footage from text descriptions or animate still images into video — no stock footage needed.

skills/generate-clip/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • generate-image

Generate AI images for your Remotion project. Describe what you need — backgrounds, thumbnails, characters, abstract art — and get production-ready images via AI generation or Replicate models.

skills/generate-image/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • remotion-production

Media orchestration for Remotion videos. Generates and sources the assets a video needs (voiceover, music, sound effects, stock footage, AI images and clips, video analysis and review) through MCP tools, and hands them to Remotion's official skills for the markup. Use whenever a Remotion video needs audio, voiceovers, music, stock footage, AI-generated media, or analysis of existing footage.

skills/remotion-production/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • review-video

Review a Remotion video with AI vision. Starts with a cheap local check of rendered still frames, then has TwelveLabs watch the full render and score it against a JSON rubric (pacing, composition, text legibility, audio sync and more) with timestamped fixes, applies the fixes and re-reviews. The feedback loop that closes the production circle.

skills/review-video/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • setup-guide

Knowledge for helping users set up the Remotion Superpowers plugin. Covers API key acquisition, dependency installation, Remotion's official Agent Skills (a required companion), and MCP server troubleshooting. Use when running /setup or when a user has issues with MCP connections.

skills/setup-guide/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • setup

First-run setup wizard for Remotion Superpowers. Checks dependencies, scaffolds a Remotion project if needed, installs and updates Remotion's 12 official Agent Skills (a required companion), walks through API key configuration, and verifies MCP server connections.

skills/setup/SKILL.md on GitHub (opens in a new tab)
  • transcribe

Transcribe audio or video files to text with timestamps. Produces word-level Caption JSON through the official remotion-captions flow (whisper-webgpu, or ElevenLabs Scribe via @remotion/elevenlabs when there's no GPU), plus an SRT export generated from those captions and plain text, for use with Remotion's captions system.

Review before you install

A skill is a set of instructions and scripts your agent will follow, and it can run code on your machine. Read the SKILL.md and any scripts first — this listing is not a security review.
