Free online file converter

Drop a file, pick the format, download. Images, JSON, CSV, SQL, HTML and text are converted right here in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

  • Converted in your browser, never uploaded
  • No sign-up and no watermark
  • Images, JSON, CSV, SQL, HTML and text
Drop your files here or browse to choose · paste with Ctrl+V Images, JSON, CSV, SQL, HTML, text · up to 25 MB each · stays in your browser

Everything you convert in this card happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

All converters

The full tool pages, grouped by what they work on. The badge on each card says where that tool’s own page processes your data. The card at the top converts in your browser.

How the File Converter works

  1. Drop one or more files on the card at the top, click it to browse, or paste an image with Ctrl+V.
  2. DevSly reads the first bytes of each file, not only its name, to recognise the type. A PNG saved as photo.jpg is still found to be a PNG.
  3. Pick the format you want, change the options if you like and press Convert. Images, JSON, CSV, SQL, HTML and text files are converted right in the card; then copy the result or download it.

Where does each converter run?

Everything you convert in the card at the top runs in your browser: the file is read by JavaScript on your own device and never sent to DevSly. Each card further down is a separate tool page and carries its own badge. In your browser means that page converts on your device too. Processed on our server means the text you load into that page is sent to DevSly to be converted. Prefer an “In your browser” page for anything sensitive, such as database dumps or customer data.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything you convert in the card at the top happens in your browser: images, JSON, CSV, SQL, HTML and text are read and converted by JavaScript on your own device, so they never leave it. The tool pages listed further down are separate pages. Those marked “Processed on our server” send the text you load into them to DevSly to be converted, so choose an “In your browser” page for sensitive data.

Which data and text conversions can I run here?

JSON to SQL, CSV to SQL, SQL to JSON, JSON to TypeScript, HTML to plain text, and letter case (UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, camelCase, snake_case and more). Drop the file, pick the format, change the options if you like, then copy the result or download it. SQL can be written for MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite.

Which image formats can I convert to?

PNG, JPG, WebP (when your browser can create it), BMP and ICO. The converter reads PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP, SVG, ICO and, where your browser can open them, AVIF and HEIC.

Why does a transparent PNG get a white background as a JPG?

JPG and BMP cannot store transparency, so transparent areas have to be filled with a color. White is the default; pick any color under Options before you convert. PNG, WebP and ICO keep transparency.

Is the photo’s location and camera data kept?

No. The image is decoded and drawn again before it is saved, so metadata such as GPS position, camera model and capture time is not copied into the new file.

What happens to big numbers and special characters in my data?

Whole numbers beyond 15 digits are kept exactly, never rounded. Text is escaped for the SQL dialect you choose, and a file that is not valid UTF-8 is reported instead of garbled. If a CSV saved by Excel shows the wrong letters, pick its encoding (for example Windows-1254 for Turkish) under Options.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes, up to 30 files at a time, and images and data files can be mixed. Download them one by one, or all together as a .zip file.

What are the size limits?

Each file can be up to 25 MB and everything you add at once up to 200 MB. Images can be up to 16,384 pixels on a side, and BMP output is limited to 50 megapixels. A very large data file can take a few seconds to convert.

Can I convert PDF, Word, audio or video files?

Not here. Those formats need heavier tools than a browser can run privately, and DevSly does not offer them yet. The page tells you when it does not recognise a file type.

Does it work offline?

Once this page has loaded, converting needs no network connection.
